Requirements :
First of all we require a empty USB ( PENDRIVE ) for making it a bootable one .The memory capacity of pendrive will vary according to the operating system .For making a bootable USB of XP a 1GB and for Windows 7 we must have a 4GB capacity pen drive . If you have the pendrive of appropriate capacity then go for the following steps.
Step 1:
Down load the software "WinToFlash" from the following link :
http://www.freedownloadsplace.com/WinToFlash-Download-40463.htm
After opening the downloading page click on " Internal Mirror 1" then the download will startautomatically as shown below.
Step 2:
You need not have to install the application.You just "Unzip" the downloaded "Zip" file. After unzipping you will find a application file named "WinToFlash" having logo .you just double click on it.You will find the following window :
Click on the Specified location.Then click on" next" , after that you will find another window as follows :
Then put your windows XP or Windows 7 disk in the DVD drive .Then select the "windows file path : "as the DVD drive and the "USB drive :" as pendrive and click next.Then follow the instructions as it appears on your screen.
Step 3 :
When the process will be completed then Reboot your PC or Laptop and go to your bios setting and enable the USB boot option .Then connect the bootable USB and Reboot the system.
N.B :
The process of booting from USB may create a problem.Because it differs from system to system and for Laptop the process is different .In the case of laptop before booting there will be certain options with the shortcut key which will appear for 2-3 seconds and then disappear .from these options find the shortcut key for "Change boot device order :" or "Boot device order:" and remember that key.Again reboot the laptop and press that functional key (till the separate screen appears). then there will be three options for booting 1.DVD drive ,2.HDD ,3.USB .From these options choose the third one and hit enter and then follow the instructions.
